“Now, Michelle, back to you and these two men. How would you categorize these chocolate pieces?”
“Well the first one is definitely rich chocolate,” Michelle described.
“Oh. Well most people like it. Some don’t. I take it that the sex was not exactly satisfying meaning that the only good quality he has is the fact that he’s rich,” Tina predicted.
“Exactly. Now I can’t quite put the second one in a category yet. He was attractive, a bit rough around the edges, and his breath smelled of alcohol covered up with mouthwash. Great sex and he was sweet and polite but you can never—”
“Tell from the first bite until you let it linger a bit or bite again. I’ve taught you well. Hmm—sounds like to me your man is bitter chocolate. Run away, girl.”
“What? How so?”
“You said that his breath smelled of liquor, but he was dressed in sweats and a beater.”
“Yeah, and—”
“You can’t get into a bar dressed like that. Not around here anyway, which means he was drinking at home.”
“He could of stopped by the house to change. That would explain the mouthwash.”
“True, but highly unlikely. You see, bitter pieces are usually rebound men. Which means two things: one, he probably doesn’t live in your building and two, he knows you through somebody else. A man like that can get mouthwash from anywhere.”
“Like where?”
“The glove compartment.”

“Trust me. You won’t hear from him until you call him if you ever hear from him at all.”
